Bridging solution became fixed installation.-That’s CDF330 from Brotech!

Installation of another Brotech CD F330 with a fully rotary/semi-rotary flexographic printing unit at AJK Etiketten-und Barcodesysteme GmbH in Langen.
Actually, the machine was only to be used to bridge a delivery bottleneck. After a short briefing, the Brotech CDF 330 was able to convince with its flexibility after only a few days, so that it was left standing.
The machine is suitable for printing, partial varnishing, laminating and cold foil application as well as for full-surface varnishing and laminating with solid adhesive.
In addition to qualitative aspects, ecological reasons also played a role in the decision for the Brotech CD 330 for AJK Managing Director Andreas Jost. Not only the delivery of the machine by train from the manufacturer's location to PrintsPaul, but also the equipment with LED-UV drying, which does not generate ozone in the drying process and eliminates the extraction of harmful fumes, were decisive criteria.
In addition, the machine is very productive.
With the rotary die cutting unit, which is equipped with a 176-tooth cylinder, AJK achieves speeds of up to 120 m/min. With the semi-rotary die-cutting unit, the machine can process labels at up to 80 m/min. The dual cutting system is equipped with razor blades and shear cut knives. The finished weeded and cut labels are wound on two servo motor driven spindles.
Following successful installation and training, further plans have now matured at AJK for the near future, which include picking up the complete product on a vacuum table and final delivery in a vertical star conveyor unit.
